Amazing speech on all of that. I am a Marine Veteran, I served from 2007 to 2011. I just got out about 4 months ago. I went to Iraq and Afghanistan. It does suck, I am unemployed, and the fight we fought over there seems like for nothing as i lost a few friends as well in Afghanistan. All we have fought for seems for no reason at all. I couldnt agree with you more on our president. He’s ruining our nation and our way of life. I have much to say about all of that, but it’s to much to write in just a small comment.
I just wanna thank you for all the combat techniques I’ve learned over the past few years from you. I have taught many of my young marines hand to hand combat before i got out. Thank you for everything and God bless

Take your time, Chris. Heal. Both body & mind. Being a retired SGM from the 10th SFG, 2nd Battalion, awarded Bronze Star, Purple Heart, Clusters, since 1996, I too, had to heal. Not so much the body, but more the mind. The inner demons. I fought for, bled for, our country. I’ve fought in damn near every 3rd world country there is that required intervention. Than, as you said, we voted for the wrong President. We opened the doors to anyone who wanted in and gave power to vote to those who hated our country to start with. After the service (10 years), I opened up a martial arts studio with a friend geared mainly for kids. Taught for 10 years, but had to sell my half to begin caring for my elderly parents. My mom passed away in 2009 from complications after heart surgery. Now I care for my dad. I was training troops in the service at Bragg and although the politicians have tried to prevent us from teaching the Close Combat techniques, we still incorporate what we can and also teach little helpful tools from our own martial arts lessons over the years, when practical and allowed. I would never want one of my men going to war unprepared. Your video’s are a helpful tool for me to reacquaint myself with my past. Thanks for that. I wish you success in your new adventures and if you ever need a spokesman or someone to keep the need/reason for Close Combat to stay alive, look me up. Glad to help. I have received and learned everything on every video you have done. I, however, have not had an opportunity to use any of it. I came close a couple months ago when a self-professed former Marine accused me of not being a true patriot and he was verbally offensive. This guy was at least 8 inches taller than me, had wide shoulders and a protrusive chest. I found myself neither intimidated nor afraid of him. Rather I wanted to put some serious hurt on him. I knew to put my hands up and appear to be telling him I did not want to hurt him. I took one step back, but no attack. I told him he could have the first swing. I impuned him and various members of his family (none were there) in a low tone that only he could hear. Bottom line, he backed off, got into his car and drove off. Doggone it! You gave me that knowledge and confidence. Thank you.

There sure has been allot of replys concerning Chris’s comments on the president. It’s also great to see that so many agree with Chris on his views, I know I agree with Chris. It’s like Obamacare, have any of you tryed to go to a Dr. lately or use the Family leave act. Thanks to Obamacare, it’s a nightmare to go through the medical Insurance process these days to get proper medical care or medical leave short term. My wife has worked her job for twenty six years and needs some time off because of constant pain in her body. She has Firbromyalga, and it’s very painful. The Insurance company denied her twice now on short term dissability, because of Obamacare. Thanks Obama for screwing up the health system.
Thank you, Chris, for making your training videos available for anyone willing to use them. I am a 20 year veteran of the U.S. Navy and I am dismayed at the blatant disregard this administration, the Democrats, and the progressive Republicans have toward constitutional authority, patriotism, and American sovereignty. The Partriot Act was expanded by President Obama to include all phone conversations and domestic internet communications, our military forces are being cut while we have expanded wars to four nations and counting, and our government is encouraging revolution in the Mideast while insulting our greatest friends, the Brits and Israel.
Our government is spending more borrowed money than has ever before been spent and then blaming President Bush for the economic mess we have created. Our troops are having their hands tied for fighting our enemies and interrogating our prisoners and President Obama is given credit for taking out Osama while our troops used information gained to find Osama from sources and methods President Obama has restricted.
The President recently told Mrs. Brady, when she asked what he was doing to increase gun control, that he was moving forward on that issue but most of what he had to do to increase gun control had to be done under the radar.
Woodrow Wilson attempted to overthrow our capitalist society by spending our nation into a crisis and I believe we are seeing a repeat of history today. Four metods need to be used to form a facist/socialist state:1) control the media, 2) control the food supply, 3) control transportation and the free travel of citizens and commerce, and 4) ban private ownership and use of firearms.
Our freedom and liberty are in danger. I am glad we still have patriots like yourself, Chris, who will take a stand to hopefully save this nation from destruction by the uninformed, the ignorant, and the progressives. Keep up the good work.
A doctor from Israel says: “In Israel the medicine is so advanced that we cut off a man’s testicles, we put them into another man, and in 6 weeks he is looking for work.”

Just wanted to leave a couple of comments for those who love Obama and blame Bush for all of Obama’s problems. First we have the $800 billion stimulous package that Obama said he needed to pass so unemployment would not go above 8%. All that happened was he added more to the debt and lost more jobs. Now Obama is blaming the Republicans for the debt he has run up. The Democrats had control of Congress since 2006. They REFUSED to pass a budget last year, even though every Congress before them had done so throughout history. Now Obama blames Republicans for the problem.
Someone mentioned civil rights on here as well. Obama’s attorney general, Eric Holder wants to investigate the Bush administration for the deaths of a couple of terrorists who were in custody. Yet he approves a program to sell guns to Mexican cartels and denies any involvement after two US federal agents are killed. If he in fact did not approve the program why does he not investigate the BATFE? Why is he trying to get rid of the whistle blowers who uncovered the scam?
I know there are a lot of people out there worshipping President Obama, but I do not think the country can stand another four years of his corruption. When he talked about “hope and change” I actually thought that things might be different under his administration. I can only speak for my self but the only change I have seen so far is that my health insurance has gone up and covers less, gas has gone up, and the price of food and other items has gone up. At least I live in Texas where Obama’s recession has not hit as hard as the rest of the country.
Captain Chris, I hope you are able to enjoy your retirement in spite of the current president. You can always move to Texas where his influence is not as bad as the rest of the country.
How refreshing in this age of political correctness to see someone who is not afraid to express his political viewpoint which reflects the viewpoints of most people I know. We are unfortunately all hammered daily by the mainstream medias biased reporting or lack of the truth thereof.
Sorry to hear about the retirement but you are needed in other ways Captain Chris. All my life I have been fascinated with martial arts but never had the resources or time to learn. Your training videos and their easy to follow format has allowed me to become a formidable adversary to any would-be assailants. Thank you for that! I have been able to give basic instruction and help many people feel more confident after having completed your certification program. I am really looking forward to the sale simply because my financial situation has not been the best since the financial melt-down and considering that I am a medical student my resources are strapped. Do you have any recommendations with regards to building a successful self-defense training business? I am interested in this not only for the additional income but also to fulfill the need seen in the community for awareness. People of all walks of life will be united when the day comes that our freedoms are truly taken from us. The day we wake up and they are filling the rail cars with “dissenters” people will then know what the state of affairs truly are and where this country really stands. I hope that we never come to that point but as history tends to repeat itself and the apparent symmetry between the parties in their overall agenda would elude to; we are in trouble. I would like to know how we could work together and what sort of consulting service you would be providing to persons interested in starting and maintaining a business? America, yes we are a Christian nation, founded on the Word of God and sustained by His grace. He is an embarrassment to our Country and the proud history we have. Back when I was a young kid, I always wanted my dad to teach me how to fight, because I had much trouble with bullies. My whole life I have had no real understanding of self defense until I discovered Close Combat three years ago. I’m 33 years old now, and am entering police academy. My inspiration for becoming a cop was the Jena Six event in Georgia and the Channon Christian & Christopher Newsome murders in Knoxville, TN Jan. 7, 2007. I’m hoping the streets will be safer now that I’ll be on patrol. Thanks for all you have done and continue to do, Chris, you’re like an older brother I never knew.
For those that critisize Chris for hois position regarding our President, it’s his site, he can state whatever position he wants! You liberals hate the First Amendment, don’t you? I happen to agree with him. If you agree with this President and believe your life is better than it was in 2008, then vote in November 2012 to re-elect him. Those of us who’s lives are worse off and not projected to improve as a result of Government policies will most certainly vote for ANY alternative. Nothing uncivilized about that. Thank you Chris for your military service, and for providing your expertise wherever you feel most needed. We Vets know which side of the bread we put the butter on, and know that the liberals that push their agenda can’t separate their ass from a hole in the ground, or as I like to state it, to busy sitting on their shoulders to pull their head out for a breath of fresh air and to take a moment to look around them. To them and Scarlette, This economy was set up by Bill Clinton, not GWB when the restrictions were lifted from Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac allowing them, and insurance companies to make risky loans to people who otherwise couldn’t afford a mortgage. The proof is in the pudding, because they couldn’t afford them anyway. GWB tried to get the Democrats who controlled both the House and Senate to put the restrictions back on numerous times because it would be the downfall of our economy. Guess what, so it is, and it came down toward the end of GWB’s term. Obama’s The Fraud’s bail outs, stimulus packages, obamacare and his general ignoring the constitution is and was a failure to America, but right up his alley to boost this nation toward socialism. He isn’t through yet if he’s not stopped, my belief is it’s not to late, but that it’s going to take a concentrated effort by all to restore this country. Remember to all that has taken the Oath to the Constitution, It was to up hold and defend the Constitution, not to the President or the Illuminati. When I joined the service, I swore to support and defend the constitution against all enemies foreign and DOMESTIC. Though I’m not active duty now, I am still true to that pledge and always will be.

Just want to say Thank You for your service to our country. Can’t believe how many people have been brainwashed into believing the trouble in this country is President Bushs’ fault, and Obama is ’saving’ us. What a crock! Things have been going to hell every since the dems took over the house and senate in 2007… which made Pres. Bush a lame duck president. Actually, I’ll go further… things have been going downhill ever since the communists/socialists started brainwashing our youth back in the 60’s… yeah, I’m older than that… have seen a lot. It didn’t make sense to me that we’d send our soldiers halfway around the world to combat communism, and then allow it to take root here at home. I see the socialist minded so often in my work… mostly lazy bums.. always looking for someone else to take responsibility for them… they can get very nasty.. thus my interest in self defense training.
When I hear those who think socialism is good, I’d like to have them go spend time in the socialist/communist country of their choice for awhile.. then see what they say. Those people do not value this country and the gift given to them… fought for and died for by our forefathers, and still being fought for now.

You are right on! Obama is a disgrace and a fraud. He owns the mess the economy is in. He took ownership last summer when he and VP Biden began their “Summer of Recovery Tour.” What a joke. The experiment to elect an unknown, inexperienced community organizer with a nice voice and delivery is over and it was a disaster. November 2012 can’t come soon enough.

Yes things weren’t optimal financially under Bush because there was a global problem at the time. There was nothing he could do to stop it. However Obama has made stuff worse at a time when there is improvement in some overseas countries. Bush isn’t around to see if he would do better but it is obvious that noone could do worse.

President Obama deserves every bit of contempt he gets. In a way, so do a whole lot of Americans, for picking someone to run the country who previously had run nothing but his mouth.
Meanwhile, the list of abuses of power by this administration are many, and growing:
*Bannng alcohol/caffeine drinks such as Four Loko. Evidently, no one in the Obama Administration has ever heard of a rum and Coke.
*Warrantless seizures and shutdowns of sports video streaming sites. The week before the Super Bowl, several sports video sites were summarily shut down by the government. The Super Bowl featured the Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers. According to Open Secrets, Steelers owner Art Rooney contributed $25,000 to Obama’s Inaugural. That doesn’t prove anything, but it looks bad.
*Operation Fast and Furious. This will be a well-known story to anyone who’s been following the news of late. For those who missed it, ATF set up an operation where they DELIBERATELY allowed guns–some of them very, very powerful guns–to be sold via middlemen to Mexican drug cartels. The director of ATF even had a video feed set up where he could watch the sales go down from his office in DC. You may recall some stories in the press a while back about how violence in Mexico was being caused by legally sold American guns. Were those guns allowed to walk simply to gin up an anti-gun meme in the press? And how many people have died as a result of this? To date, we still do not know who ordered this operation.
*Backdoor amnesty. This administration seems to be doing everything it can to get as many illegal aliens into this country (and voting, do they hope?) as possible. *Defense of Marriage Act. Despite being passed by Congress, signed into law by President Clinton, and upheld by the courts, President Obama has ordered that DOMA not be defended by the U.S. Government. In this, he is single-handedly attempting to repeal, by decree, a law he disagrees with, and which had ALREADY BEEN UPHELD.
*Attempting to buy off an election. After Arlen Specter defected from the GOP, he was challenged in the primary by Joe Sestak. Sestak was pretty much a lock to beat Specter in the primary, but Specter had helped get Obamacare through the Senate. So the White House–you scratch my back, I scratch yours–attempted to buy Sestak off by offering him a job in the White House. (There was a similar incident involving another legislator in Colorado.)
*Libya. If you’re reading this, you more than likely know more about this abuse of power than I can type.
*TSA pat-downs. Again, probably not news if you’ve well-informed. (These have started to spread beyond airports, by the way.) Is it a stretch to suppose that if these had been ordered by President Bush, he would have been impeached and removed from office in less than a month?
There’s more. Lots more. There have been multiple books written about the corruption in this administration.
And do NOT get me started on the economy. Saw a poll recently that said 39% of Americans now believe the economy is in permanent decline. In other words, TWO OF EVERY FIVE AMERICANS HAVE NOW GIVEN UP ON THE AMERICAN DREAM.
Meanwhile, unrest is all over the place in Greece…and spreading to the UK…while TurboTax Geithner gets to decide what gets paid and what doesn’t if the US runs out of money next month.
Folks, when this sale goes live on Monday, stock up, and learn as much as you can, fast. We’re going to need it!

Sorry to see Captain Chris go. I have all his videos and he puts out good quality self defense videos/info. As far as all the political BS, I don’t think either side is worth a damn personally. They both sell promises that they don’t deliver and spend the taxpayer’s money for their own agenda and greed.
