I found out about Close Combat Training through the Glenn Beck website (yep I’m worried about the good ole USA right now). I had watched the movie “Taken” several times before I found out the connection between Liam using the CCT method in the movie scenes before finally going back to do some research into the CCT courses. I finally purchased the core CCT and two other packages which I’m learning from now.
I’m a veteran and my 52nd birthday is tomorrow and I can safely say I’m happy with my purchase and looking forward to obtaining other CCT courses. I also plan on sharing these methods with my kids (both married and one with their own children). I believe everyone should know the basics and more if possible to personal protection. I thank Captain Chris and staff for the products provided!
I love the movie and I have noticed that every time he fights someone he uses pretty simple moves tht work. Quite inspiring
))
Chris, thank you for encorporating these fighting techniques into DVD’s to watch and then practice. Several weeks ago I came across your website and was reading and watching the information that was free on your site. I really liked the “double Chin Jab move and said to myself holy cow would that work when someone is posturing you with the ole chest bump………the next day when I was at the local shopping mall with my children some jack ass yelled at my 7 year old daughter in the “play area” because she did not want to play with his daughter. This caused my daughter to cry, and caused me to confront the man. He went on to tell me that he hates “ugly kids” …..well to say the least my blood went through the roof.
I was ready to knock this guy out but being a public school teacher, I knew getting arrested at the local mall would probably get me dissmissed. I am far from being a small man 6′ 210lb and ex weight lifter, this guy was easily 6′2 and 300+ (fat piece of you know what)…….any how back to the story I told myself that if he touches me (we were nose to nose) it is on, and he started to physically walk into me to push me back while saying get the F out of my face, and at that moment something said double chin jab,….. and I launched it smashing his jaw and head back! Well needless to say after I did that he wanted no more part of me, pretty amazing to have someone jack your head back and then not come after the guy who did it. Security came and he had nothing to say except that “we are leaving”
That afternoon I ordered your Close Combat System and have never looked back, all I can say is that joker was lucky that I didn’t know then what I know now!
Chris, thank you
Captain Chris,
I got the Close Combat package and started with reading the two manuals. I used to keep in fairly good condition until old age and arthritis is both knees got to me. I needed to get back to being interested in being confident and your web site and messages, videos sparked my curiosity. It is slow going at seventy six years but a step at a time as I have learned from previously rushing and pushing too hard too soon does not work for me. I like your clear language and inate enthusiasm for training anyone who wants to feel confident about handling himself/herself ina bad situation.
The videos will be started this weekend as I have been down with a cold for many weeks and am just getting back to my walking routine.
Keep up the good work.
Bob D.
I ordered from you because I thought it was most like the fight sequence in Taken. Yes, I know it was acting, but as a former bouncer I knew that it was close to being real. Thanks.
I got my Close Combat training videos and have begun watching them, and I love them. I feel so much better about myself now and feel that I can handle myself in a situation! With each new video I watch, I feel stronger, and I must say you were right on when you said, “Fear No Man” because I don’t anymore!
Thank you so much Captain Chris, you had exactly what I have been looking for!
Sincerely………….L. Mills
I don’t recall how I found your site; but seeing that movie, and the ‘Paris apartment’ scene in “Bourne..” where he fights off a guy with a pen, and other parts of both movies; made me say ‘That’s what works!’. I had my doubts at first, about buying it. Listening to your story and checking other sources you’ve mentioned, I had to buy it! Finished the first disc and it’s great so far!
Thank you Chris!
I have reviewed the information sent to me and am incorporating it into the training of my family members and a security team currently being selected by myself, (both prior military, police, and civilian in make up). Please consider recommending more specific training aids you may offer.
Thanks, Lewis Gaddie

My daughter was beaten up by an ex-boy friend

Jeff
That’s funny because I have recieved the package and havent watched it yet. Taken is one of my favorite movies, I made my daughter watch it.
Jim, be sure to have your daughter watch the bonus Women’s Self Defense Experience DVD that came with your CCT package.
here is a real life and death scenario. i am at the local college having just applied last week. the local school bully, decides it is time to prove that he is the top dog in this town. he comes up to me gets into my “personal space bubble” and gets ready to shove my face through the brick wall between both lockers and kill me right there. (could have a busted beer bottle in the other hand for all i know) he is coming too fast to get off the 5 hit combination. lethal force is required. What should i do?
A)chin jab the man right there and show him that he messed with the wrong bad-ass man on the wrong day.
B)edge of hand in the throat and chinjab him so i can have a clear shot to finish him off.
C) chop right through him if he puts his guard up and then chin jab
D) both a and c are correct
E)both a and c and B are correct
F) elbow him right in the heart, stomach and center multiple times until he drops,
question 2: the Basic close combat kit did not go over how to report an attack to the autorities so taht i am legally covered… can you give me a pointer on that?
i have several questions about the close combat program i purchased a while ago.
1) will the chin jab take a man down if you use it alone, or do you have to throw something else into the mix?
2) fingertip jabs to the throat. can you do this in a fear induced state? or is that considered a complex motor movement?
3) if the guy starts covering up in a boxing guard, how do i get past his guard so i can deploy a chin jab if he has a weapon and i need to take him out permanently?!
4) what 2 hit combination should i use that will work every time for those “son, step aside or i”m’na crack you right in the jaw!” moments (that everyone faces about 20 times every day but doesnt know how to handle it or doesnt think they can).
5) and most importantly,, the chin jab. a busted jaw will hurt and probably mean knocking the man into unconsciousness, but how can that kill a man? once he is on the ground, what if the hit did not work right,,, what do i do as a backup to wipe the man off the face of the earth?
if you could reply to these questions, captain i would really appreciate it.
if you could hit me back with an email as soon as possible, this would be totally invaluable.
You are correct Capt. Chris- quite inspiring!!!
That was one serious shot to the throat!
