Ninja Gear

You’re looking for ninja gear and chances are you aren’t a ninja, but don’t worry you are not alone. Judging by the amount of searches on the Internet there are plenty of people looking to purchase gear. Before you buy anything you should consider a few things first. Sure price and quality are important, and you should shop around, but that is just the start of things. You can have the greatest gear in the world, but if you don’t know how to use the stuff it doesn’t really matter. Also, why do you want it, and is it practical for you to have? Before you click away and start ordering an arsenal you better do some thinking first.

Your first concern should be a legal one. Is this equipment legal for you to own in your area? Most websites and catalogs already know that, and if they won’t ship the items to your address, they’re illegal for you to have. Even if they are legal maybe you’re not currently living in a place that allows that type of gear. Your college dorm might restrict what weapons you can have even if you’re a practicing martial artist. Also, it might be legal for you to own, but can you carry it around without restriction? You probably can’t, and if you were a police officer what would you think if you pulled over someone and they had a sword, a grappling hook, and a black uniform in the backseat? When it comes to your own personal safety you have to decide what is right, but make sure it’s worth the trouble.

Now if you’re actually interested in ninja training you will find a few dedicated teachers out there, but they will probably be the first to tell you not to rush out and buy anything. A uniform doesn’t make the fighter, and not every martial art is useful for self defense. Keep in mind ninja training is all about stealth and concealment, and is based on the idea that assassination is a form of public service. Now some modern teachers may instruct you how to stop assassins, but you need to decide if that type of training is for you. Anyone can just buy ninja gear, but a real warrior understands ethics and responsibilities.
